Bottle Lamps and Light Art

Lighting is another exciting direction for bottle art. Empty bottles can be combined with small LED fairy lights to create glowing decorative pieces for bedrooms, balconies, restaurants, weddings, and parties.

Clear, green, blue, and amber bottles are particularly attractive because the glass interacts with light to create different moods. Recycled glass artists are also exploring the relationship between bottles, light, mosaics, and decorative surfaces.

For a simple DIY project, insert battery-powered LED lights into a clean bottle and decorate the outside with paint, ribbon, jute, or small decorative elements.
